Hawaiian Spirulina Pacifica® is extracted from the clear waters of the Pacificu Kailua-Kona Basin in Hawaii, USA. Kailua Kona has the best climatic and environmental conditions in the world for the production of spirulina.
Spirulina Pacifica® comes from one of the oldest spirulina farms in the world owned by Cyanotech Corporation and is one of the most valuable compared to spirulina from other world cultures (has a much higher content of key nutrients). The breeding company Cyanotech does not use any chemicals - pesticides, herbicides, and the drying and tabletting process is patented and occurs without loss of nutrients (the process takes place at low temperatures and lack of oxygen).
